Kentucky Career Center provides assistance to individuals separated from employment or underemployed that helps to connect them to quality, self-sufficient employment. Services include career coaching, job readiness workshops, resume services, networking groups, and funding for occupational training services in high demand industry sectors. Kentucky Career Center works within recognized industries to ensure employment is secured and maintained with a livable wage and training credentials are secured as appropriate.
Kentucky Career Center also assists employers to meet their workforce demands through Business Services. Our Business Services include Collaboration with Kentucky Career Center partners results in the following services to local businesses: FOCUS Talent Database for Employer Candidate Search, Job Candidate Recruitment & Screening, Job Fairs, Skills Assessment, On-the-Job, Soft-Skills, Occupational Skills, and Incumbent Worker Training. Other Employer Services include HR Seminars and Usable Labor Market Data.

Our Business Services Team works with employers to meet their workforce demands.
Kentucky Career Center also assists employers to meet their workforce demands through Business Services. Youth Talent Development Services
Youth achieve self-sufficiency through life skills, quality education, and employment services.
Youth Talent Development Services works with Opportunity Youth (16-24) who have a barrier to finding employment or pursuing their education. College funding is available for youth interested in approved programs within NKY In-Demand Industries. Internships are available that pay $13.25 an hour and youth participate in customer service training and have an opportunity to earn a nationally recognized credential for completion. Career Readiness and Exploration Events help youth explore in-demand careers and receive advice from industry experts about training options, and employment opportunities available. Workshops are also provided and can be customized to meet your needs but include topics such as: Resume Building, Interviewing Tips, Workplace Professionalism, Job Searching, Customer Service Training, and Financial Literacy.

You may be eligible for WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker grant money if one or more of the following apply to you:
- You are receiving Unemployment Insurance
- You are receiving KTAP, SNAP or other public assistance
- You’ve been laid off, received a notice of layoff from your employer or been wrongfully terminated
- You are unemployed or underemployed and looking for full-time employment
You may be eligible for the paid internship and college funding if the following apply to you:
- Youth ages 16-24
- Must meet income criteria (varies by individual situation)
- Have a barrier to education or employment (basic skills deficient, parenting youth, homeless youth, additional assistance need for work readiness, disability)
